A Gardnerville man was required to post $10,000 cash on a charge of selling cocaine after he was arrested Sunday in another matter.
Iqbal Singh, 19, was arrested after deputies received a report that three men were asked to leave the Walmart due to a disruption.
Deputies found a vehicle matching the description in the Walmart incident and made a traffic stop in Minden.
Singh was in the vehicle along with Zachary Applewhite, 18, who is facing charges of statutory sexual seduction in a separate case.
Deputies said both men had been drinking, something they were not supposed to do, because of their age and custody status.
Preliminary breath tests revealed Applewhite had a .94 percent blood alcohol level and Singh had a .042 percent.
On Wednesday, prosecutor Karen Dustman said Singh tested positive for marijuana while in custody. Singh's attorney, William Cole, said the test might be showing residual from Singh's original arrest.
Singh was originally arrested on a Sept. 17 warrant. He appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Sept. 19 and was released on his own recognizance.
A preliminary hearing for Singh was set for Oct. 10.
Applewhite pleaded guilty to one count of statutory sexual seduction in August. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday in connection with the new charge.
