How to submit information for engagements, weddings and anniversaries

The Record-Courier accepts announcements for engagements, weddings and landmark wedding anniversaries. Information forms are available at The R-C, 1503 Highway 395, Suite G, Gardnerville or information may be faxed to (775) 782-6152 or e-mailed to editor@recordcourier.com.

Information for engagement announcements should include:

n Prospective bride's and groom's names,

n Where they live,

n Parents' names and where they live,

n Prospective bride's and bridegroom's schooling " graduate or student " where and when,

n Occupations,

n Date and place of wedding.

Wedding information may include all of the above and:

n Names of the members of the wedding party " maid or matron of honor and relationship to bride, bride given away by, best man and relationship to groom, names of attendants,

n Wedding trip " where and when,

n Where the couple will make their home.

Information for wedding anniversaries should include:

n Name of couple, including wife's first name,

n Where they live and for how long,

n How long they've been married,

n Date and location of wedding,

n Where and how they met,

n Names of children and grandchildren and where they live.
