Quadruplets account open

An account has been opened at U.S. Bank to assist with expenses for the Shatswell quadruplets expected to be born in the next couple of weeks.

Darah Shatswell, 24, and her husband, Army Spec. Joe Shatswell, 22, are expecting the three girls and a boy.

Joe Shatswell is an infantryman stationed in Afghanistan through July 2009.

Darah Shatswell and their 2-year-old daughter Zowie relocated from Fort Hood, Texas, to her mother's home in Gardnerville to await the babies' birth. She was admitted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno on Sept. 1 so the quadruplets could be monitored.

Donations may be made to account no. 253751110904 at any U.S. Bank branch.
