Boys' Tennis: Incline slips past Douglas

The Douglas boys' tennis team suffered its third defeat in as many matches to open the season, losing 10-8 to Incline in the Tigers' home-opener Tuesday.


Freshman James TenBroeck led the Tigers, sweeping his sets with a 6-1 win over Bo Baker, a 6-0 win over Jimmy Sagan and a 6-1 win over Scott Garfinkle.


Freshman Garon Athanacio got his first varsity singles win with a 7-6 (5) win over Sagan.


On the doubles' side, the teams of Marshall Jessup-Tim Doran and Kevin Sacherman-Andrew Solomon each picked up a pair of wins to wrap up Douglas' scoring on the day.
