2009 Kids' Fishing Derby Board and Committee Members selected

The board and committee members for the 2009 Kids' Fishing Derby have been selected.

Members are: Jack Hewlett, John Adams, Mike Bashaw, Bob Ellis, J.D. Calles, Guy Martin Sr., Teresa Clark, Cindy Hill, Diane Calles, Sheryl Christian, Pamela Rodrigues, Trent Dowell, Stu Hill, Brian Wood, Chris Smithen, Terry Hansen, and Kathy Johnson.

Members of the Board and Committee will be available at the Spirit Fest (Sept. 19 and 20th at Lampe Park), Oktoberfest (Sept. 21 from noon to 4 p.m. at Heritage Park) and the Fall Festival (Oct. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lampe Park) to pass out flyers with upcoming derby dates, including both volunteer and registration information. Certain locations will have discounted resale items and raffle tickets (for the upcoming drawing during the derby) available for purchase. The grand prizes for this year's derby are: Kazuma Falcon 150 sport quad with helmet and gloves valued at $1,800, a sportsman's pontoon float valued at $500, a $300 gift card from The Sportsman's Warehouse and many other miscellaneous raffle items. The 20th annual Kids' Fishing Derby will be held on June 6th and 7th of June 2009.
