Bently Biofuels Outpost will open Sept. 30, according to their ad appearing in today's R-C. Douglas County commissioners approved an off-sale beer and wine liquor license for the store, which is located at 1350 Buckeye Road on Thursday.

The former Boodler's has been resurrected by its former co-owner Keith Endlich. County commissioners conditionally approved Thursday an on-sale liquor license for The Moose and Squirrel at 1302 Langley, No. 4, in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Isolated thunderstorms are back in the forecast for today, mostly after 11 a.m. You can smell the moisture in the air this morning, so there might be some rain, too. According to the National Weather Service, the weather's going to be cool and sunny for the weekend with high temperatures not quite cracking 80 until next Tuesday.
