The top-ranked Douglas High volleyball team ran its unbeaten streak to 14 Thursday night with a 25-21, 21-25, 25-11, 25-15 win over No. 6 Galena in Reno.
The win also vaulted the Tigers to 2-0 in Sierra League play.
Taryn Williams had 10 kills, Jessica Waggoner had 20 blocks, Mysta Townsell had 12 digs, Megan Mitchell had 24 assists and Shannon Dugan and Mitchell each had five aces to lead the Tigers in all of the major categories.
Jourdan Burke had eight kills, Mitchell had five, Dugan four, Jamie Lorntzen three and Waggoner two.
Lorntzen had nine blocks, Burke, Mitchell and Dugan each had eight and Williams and Bryanna Schinzing each had three.
Mia Townsell had nine digs, Williams had six, Mitchell two and Waggoner one and Williams had three aces and Burke, Jordan Marsh and Mysta Townsell each had one.
Douglas beat Galena 25-19, 25-23.
Brenna White led the Tigers with 13 service points, three aces and three kills.
Courtney Appleton had five points, two aces and two kills.
Nikki Chavez had three points and a block.
Carly McCullough had a point and three kills.
Erin Allison had two points, two blocks and three kills.
Carson McFadden had six service points.
Nathalia Pecorilla had a point and a kill.
Heidi Schefcik had four points, a block and a kill and Bri Burnside had four points and a kill.
