The Douglas High girls' soccer team battled to a 3-2 win over Bishop Manogue in Reno Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten and untied on the year.

Douglas' Ally Freitas scored her 11th and 12th goals of the season to extend her career total to 36.

She was assisted by senior Sage Lyons in a goal just 30 seconds into the game and scored unassisted seven minutes later.

Freshman Tia Lyons scored Douglas' final goal of the day, getting an assist from CJ Baumgartner.

Christy Harvey had three saves in net for the Tigers and Brianna Randall had one save.

With Galena's win over Carson Saturday, Douglas was left as the lone unbeaten team in the Northern 4A.

That standing will be strongly tested this week with a home game against rival South Tahoe Tuesday at 7 p.m. and a trip to Carson Saturday at 1 p.m.
