Entertainmentat Buckaroos

Local musicians are invited for an acoustic jam, 2:30 - 5 p.m. Sunday at the Eddy Street Book Exchange. Musicians of any acoustic instrument of any level of experience or those who don't play but want to sing along are welcome. Minden

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Streetheart appears through Sunday and various duos entertain on Monday nights. Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Streetheart presents a vocally oriented show featuring classic rock 'n roll from the '60s to the '90s. The group is leader Tom Quinn on lead guitar and vocals, Gus Bueaudoin on bass and vocals, Todd Hidden on drums and vocals and Wolfgang Grasekamp on keyboards.

American Made takes the Cabaret Lounge stage Tuesday and plays until Oct. 5. American Made plays American music from the '40s to the present, including rock, oldies, classic rock, R&B, country and big-band swing. The group features Sharon Wyner on vocals and keyboards; Nat Wyner on vocals, electric violin, guitar and mandolin; Jeff Sadie on lead guitar and vocals and Jerry Stollman on drums and vocals.

n Monday Night Football features sports viewing on giant plasma screens, draft beer and snack specials and prize drawings.

Ballet at MontBleu

The Sierra Ballet Theatre Co. opens its third season with a dance program, 7 p.m. Oct. 4, at the MontBleu Theater in Stateline.

The show includes the contemporary ballet "Rachmaninoff" and children's ballet "Madeline" based on the book, "Madeline's Rescue," by Ludwig Bemelmans. Also in the program is "Love and Loss," a showcase of jazz styles accompanied by techno, country, hip hop and pop music.
