The Douglas High girls' tennis team powered to a league win against Fallon Thursday in Minden based primarily on its balanced play.
The Tigers picked up seven wins in the singles bracket and five in the doubles to pick up a 12-6 team victory.
Amelia Ritger swept her three sets, extending her Northern Nevada unbeaten streak to nearly two full seasons, but did drop her first game in nearly three weeks to Fallon's top-seeded player.
She picked up 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0 wins on the day. Cesarina Ceglia and Clara Ritger each had two wins for the Tigers.
In doubles, Jamie Lundergreen and Sarah Weaver swept their three sets and the teams of Niki Hamzik-Marissa Delgadillo and Sophie Lyles-Kat Merrill each had one win to round out Douglas' scoring on the day.
Douglas suffered a 10-8 setback against Fallon as the Tigers have officially been eliminated from the team playoffs.
