It's probably best to avoid Genoa today while the crafters are setting up. There are already a lot of RVs and trailers on the roadside as nearly 500 different booths are set up in one part of the town or the other. Around about 5 p.m. it will be pretty busy.
The weather today will be breezy this afternoon with a high of 83 degrees. The low will be in the upper 40s. There's actually a chance of rain out on the distant horizon. The National Weather Service is forecasting slight chance of thunderstorms or whowers on Monday and again on Wednesday.
If you're commuting through Carson this morning, watch out for a non-injury accident in the northbound lanes of Highway 395 and Park. The accident occurred at 7:05 a.m.
