Food donations needed at youth drop-in center

The Tahoe Youth & Family Services Drop-In Centers are in need of food donations because of budget cuts and food bank shortages.

The drop-in centers welcome donations of apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, canned fruit, bread, breakfast bars, crackers, small bags of chips, peanut butter, jelly, lunch meat, sliced and string cheese, canned soups, turkey dogs, hot dog buns and low-sugar drinks.

The Carson Valley Tahoe Youth & Family Services Drop-in Center is at 791 Tillman Lane in the Gardnerville Ranchos. Information, 782-4202.
