Emergency personnel responded to at least a half dozen accidents in Carson Valley this morning.
Slick roads have been responsible for at least some of the accidents. An injury accident was reported at Kingsbury Grade and Foothill Road at 6:41 a.m. was clear by 8 a.m.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to accidents in the northbound lanes of Highway 395 at Cradlebaugh Bridge and at Topsy Lane.
Two incidents occurred in the south county with an accident on Highway 395 near the Topaz Lodge and a motorist assist seven miles north of the state line in the Pine Nuts.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers are also working an accident on Highway 50 at Elks Point Road.
Highways in the Valley are wet, but not too slick after an early morning snow shower. Road controls are still in effect on Highway 395 in Indian Hills, in the Pine Nuts and over Kingsbury Grade.
