There's not a cloud in the sky, but the National Weather Service is predicting a 50 percent chance of rain with snow above 7,000 feet dropping 3-6 inches and then lowering to the Valley floors by Wednesday morning. And there's another front on the way through on Thursday. There's nothing on the radar, so far.

Gardnerville will discuss a commercial development with 10,000 square foot minimum parcel size on a 24.84-acre site at Larson Way. The developer is seeking the abandonment of Larson Way and and a town-maintained drainage at 1161 Highway 395 on the old Jacobsen property. Gardnerville meets 4:30 p.m. at the town offices at 1407 Highway 395.

The Douglas County Parks & Recreation is meeting 6 p.m. at the Senior Center in Gardnerville. Top of the agenda is discussion of the five-year plan, and how the budget cuts will affect recreation.

We'll see what we can learn about the missing person in Alpine County. Searchers found a car and tried tracking someone last night in the Markleeville area. Douglas County Sheriff's Search & Rescue was called out to help.
