The Nevada Seismological Labratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, is reporting a magnitude 2.0 earthquake just west of Holbrook Junction near the Nevada-California line.
The earthquake struck at 1:13 p.m. and was 6.4 miles deep.
No reports that the earthquake was felt or damage have been received by The Record-Courier.
