Fortnightly Club donates to community

MINDEN, Nev.

Chairwoman of the Minden Fortnightly fundraiser committee Kim Chapman with Minden Town Board Chairman Dave Sheets, Eileen Boettiger of the Carson Valley Community Food Closet and Kristie Traver of the Family Support Council. As a result of annual fundraisers, Minden Fortnightly was able to donate $1,500 to the Town of Minden and $1,000 each to the food closet and Family Support Council. Donations were also made to City of Refuge, Project School Days, Carson Valley Arts Council, Austin's House, the Summer Reading Program and scholarships for Girl's State and Douglas High School seniors.
