Johnson, Kindig engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Celester Johnson of Gardnerville announce the engagement of their daughter Brandi Marie Johnson to Anthony Kindig of Reno.

Brandi is a 1993 graduate of Douglas High School and 2006 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine. She is a resident doctor at Renown and the V.A. hospitals in Reno. She was chosen to become a chief resident this summer.

Anthony is the son of Lucy Kindig and the late Kerry Kindig of Las Vegas. He is an executive host at the Peppermill in Reno.

The couple plan to be married in September.
