A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday in Long Beach, Calif., for former Minden resident Patricia Lee Garcia, 67, who died April 10, 2009.
Born Oct. 31, 1941, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred (Freddie); her mother Evelyn Dailey; and her brothers Richard, William, Robert and Leland.
She is survived by her son Mike (Mary) of Gardnerville; son Jeff (Lauren) of Long Beach; grandchildren Jarrett, Casey, Megan, Emily and Kaitlyn; brother Sigurd Dailey of Minden; sisters Mildred Koss and Charlene Rippee; and many nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at Bethany Church, 2250 Clark Ave., in Long Beach, Calif.
Donations may be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
