Recordcourier.com experienced technical difficulties that prevented us from posting new stories to the Web for about 16 hours. We were able to use the News in Progress blog to post a note, but I don't know how many people saw that. I'm going to start mirroring the morning report there so readers know to find it there, too.
Copper thief Cara Sutton is back in district court this morning for a probation violation hearing. Sutton admitted to trying to take the copper from a Gardnerville yard to feed her methamphetamine addiction. Sutton, 24, was ordered to attend Western Regional Drug Court. She faces up to three years in prison for burglary when she appears before Judge Michael Gibbons.
It's going to be sunny and warm for a couple of days this week, with highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s. But the storm train isn't over yet, though it looks like the snow car has been decoupled. It's forecast to cool down toward the end of the week with highs dropping below 60 and a chance of some of those April showers.
