If you always wanted to learn how to make your own flies or learn how to "match the hatch" the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) will teach you the basics in a free class. The fly-tying class will be held over three evenings, May 5, 6 and 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night. The class will start with a basic fly and progressively work up to a more advanced fly by the third class and is designed for beginning to intermediate level fly tiers. Class is limited to the first 15 persons who sign-up.

WHEN Tuesday, May 5

Wednesday, May 6

Thursday, May 7

The class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night. We suggest timely attendance at all three classes as each class relies on the previous one due to increasing difficulty.
