Sweet Night Out Saturday

Trinity Lutheran Child Care Center hosts Sweet Night Out, 5-7 p.m. Saturday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1480 Douglas Ave., Gardnerville.

The second annual event features live music, raffle prizes and a Fun Zone for kids. Children 12 and younger can participate in a cookie toss, donut bobbing, pie toss, frosting finger painting, play dough, face painting. There will also be a safety station for child finger printing.

"We'll be cooking up some of our best homemade recipes for all to enjoy," said Trinity Lutheran Childcare Director Donna Einspahr. "There'll be cookies, candies, cakes, tarts, cupcakes, pies and more. We'll even have a sugar-free table for those with dietary restrictions. To-go boxes and recipes will also be available."

Proceeds benefit the Trinity Lutheran Child Care tuition assistance program. The Douglas Alpine Chapter of Thrivent supplements all funds raised.
