Trent Oeltjen had two hits for Reno, but the Aces could only muster one run off three Colorado Springs pitchers Monday night in a 7-1 loss to the Sky Sox at Aces Ballpark.

The Aces bats were quiet all night, but Reno did muster a rally in the fifth.

Trailing 6-0, Reno loaded the bases with only one out on a Hector Ambriz walk and back-to-back singles by Oeltjen and Ed Rogers. After a strikeout, Chris Roberson earned the Aces' lone RBI of the evening after getting hit by a pitch, but Reno left the bases loaded and couldn't score the rest of the night.

Hector Ambriz (5-8) started for the Aces and was tagged with the loss, giving up five earned runs in six innings of work. Scott Maine and Abe Woody threw the final three innings for Reno.

Colorado Springs starter Brandon Hynick (9-7) sparkled, allowing only one run and five hits over six innings. Two Sky Sox relievers combined to throw three scoreless innings of relief to preserve the victory.

In addition to Oeltjen's two hits, Rogers, Luke Carlin and Brandon Allen had hits for the Aces.
