Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Tina & the Tune-Ups continue in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday and Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll take the stage Aug. 10-16.

Tina & the Tune-Ups perform a costumed tribute to the '50s and '60s. Strong vocals, a driving rhythm section and a little slapstick are the band's trademarks. The group is Tina Fink on keyboards and lead vocals, Ray Rodarte on guitar and vocals, Gary Setzer on drums and Dave Edwards on bass.

Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll recreates the sounds of the '50s, '60s and '70s with a song list of more than 500 rock 'n' roll hits. The band is Steve Baldwin on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse on guitar, Michael Tucker on bass and vocals, Alan Zucker on drums and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and on the half-hour starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Carson Valley Inn is on Highway 395 in Minden. Information, 782-9711 or cvinn.com
