Dora Hermila Duarte

Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Gardnerville for Dora Hermila Duarte, 56, who died Aug. 9, 2009, in Carson City.

Mrs. Duarte was born Sept. 23, 1952, in Las Varas, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a Carson Valley resident since 1984. She worked for Reliance Parts Corporation in Minden for 13 years. Mrs. Duarte was a devout Christian who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Pedro Duarte, son Cesar Duarte and daughter Tanya Duarte all of Gardnerville; her father, Pedro Iguado, of Minden; brothers Efrain Iguado of Minden, Pedro Iguado and Juan Iguado of Arizona and Alvaro Iguado of Colorado; and sisters Maria of Colorado, Celia of Mexico, and Elizabeth of Arizona.

First Baptist Church is at 1311 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville. Burial will be in Eastside Memorial Park in Minden. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden.
