Gardnerville native Albert John Hellwinkel, 89, died Aug. 13, 2009, in Carson City.
Born June 16, 1920, in Gardnerville, he is survived by wife Louise; children Timothy Hellwinkel and Cyndy Falkenhagen and three grandchildren.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
