A celebration of life is 5 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for Hildreth 'Hildy' Yanez, 87, who died Aug. 14, 2009.
She was born Feb. 22, 1922 in Dallas County, Mo.
She is survived by her daughter Paula (Hank) Curry of Gardnerville; stepson Mark (Terri) Yanez of Coalinga, Calif.; grandchildren Abby (Mike) Spingola of Fernley; Jack Curry of Gardnerville; Staci Yanez of Coalinga; great-grandchildren John Angelides of Fernley and Kyle Spingola of Seattle.
