RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada basketball coach David Carter says he anticipates sophomore forward Luke Babbitt and junior guard Armon Johnson will be back with the Wolf Pack next season.
But Carter told about 250 boosters in Reno on Tuesday he doubts Babbitt will stay for his senior year and he thinks there's a chance Johnson will bolt for the NBA at the end of this year. He says Johnson is going to evaluate his situation at the end of the season and if he looks like he would be a first-round pick, will probably try his luck in the draft.
Carter says he'd love to have Babbitt back for two more seasons but would be very surprised if that happened.
