Firefighters battling home blaze on Foothill

A firefighter was injured while working a structure fire structure fire at 450 Foothill Road. Units are inside the building and knocking down the blaze.

Access to the fire in the 1,687 square foot home is limited due to the more than 10 inches of snow and a lack of water.

Foothill Road is closed at the scene of the fire.

Firefighters from Minden, Genoa, Sheridan and Tahoe-Douglas are at the scene.

Johnson Lane volunteers are being called out to cover the rest of the fire district.
