The Panther eighth-graders closed out the regular season with a 38-18 win over Alder Creek.
Dalton Grisell (five points) and Joey Swisher (10 points) led the Panthers in the win.
Pau-Wa-Lu had nine players score in picking up the win.
"We needed this win going into postseason play," coach Ben Schuler said. "We came out to prove that we are one of the top teams in the Tah-Neva League."
Swisher's performance set the tone early and Brycen Lawrence came into the game to provide a needed burst of hustle.
Grisell's hot hand and Tay Simms' ability to drive gave the Panthers a surge of offense down the stretch.
