Two men were taken into custody on Sunday after an accident near Bluerock and Robin drives.
According to court documents, Steven Tribon and Aaron Altig were driving through the Gardnerville Ranchos when Tribon allegedly struck a parked car. Both men allegedly walked away from the scene. Tribon was pursued by neighbors and detained until deputies arrived.
Tribon, 26, and Altig, 26, were booked into Douglas County Jail in lieu of $9,000 bail. Both men were freed on Monday by East Fork Justice of the Peace Jim EnEarl, who told Tribon that the district attorney was going to file charges in the case.
