Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll streams live oldies in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge Dec. 29 - Jan. 3, $10,000 in cash will be given away in the casino over the last three days of 2009 and giant football munchies will be served for the last NFL regular-season games on Jan. 3.
Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll always brings great audience enthusiasm with their authentic recreations of classic rock & roll tunes of the 50s, 60s and 70s performed live, without the aid of computers and tapes. With a song list of over 500 classic hits, a splendid time is guaranteed for all as Shake sends 2009 into the sunset and welcomes in 2010. The band features Steve Baldwin on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse on guitar, Michael Tucker on bass and vocals, Alan Zucker on drums and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals. Shake entertains in 45-minute shows starting at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (after the Champ Sports Bowl). Shows start at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday and at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge live entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum.
$10,000 in cash will be given away to Lucky Seat winners at the Carson Valley Inn over the last three days of 2009. There will be fifty guaranteed winners of $50 cash from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 29 and 30, and 100 winners of $50 cash from noon to midnight on Thursday, Dec. 31.To qualify for the drawings, simply use your INN Club card while playing in the casino. For the final week of the NFL season, the CVI is serving $1.75 Budweiser draft beer and $2.50 giant armchair munchies in Cafe Cabaret on Sunday, January 3 from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Due to remodeling in the Cabaret Lounge and casino starting Jan. 4, the NFL playoff games will be shown in the Shannon Ballroom starting the following weekend with plenty of great food values. Live entertainment will return to the Carson Valley Inn in late March when the casino remodeling project is completed.
The Carson Valley Inn (www.cvinn.com ) is located on Highway 395 in Minden near the start of State Highway 88, 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno. The property includes a casino, hotel, motor lodge, RV park and dining facilities.
