The Carson Valley Inn restaurants are offering their regular menus plus Valentine's Day dinner specials Feb. 14.
Fiona's Bar & Grill serves its regular dinner menu plus Valentine's Day dinner specials from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 14. There's a flower for the ladies, additional Valentine's Day dessert creations and Fiona's 70-item soup and salad bar included with entrees. Specials include wild mushroom crusted tournedos of beef with merlot pan sauce and mashed potatoes, scaloppini of chicken with Fontina cheese, sage and wild boar ham served with a vermouth cream sauce and garlic pasta and Cajun lobster, shrimp and crayfish etouffee. Fiona's Bar & Grill reservations at 783-6650.
In Katie's Country Kitchen, the regular menu and daily specials will be available all day and a three-course Valentine's Day dinner special will be served 4-9 p.m. Start with smoked oyster chowder or Katie's house salad. The entree is New York steak and steamed Maine lobster tail with baked potato and vegetables. Dessert is Godiva chocolate mousse cake.
