Minden -- The Douglas boys' basketball team's playoff hopes stayed alive with a 77-54 win over Wooster Tuesday night.
The Tigers need to win out the remainder of their schedule and need either Damonte, Galena or Carson to lose three of their last four. Douglas got a little boost from Carson Tuesday with the Senator's win over Damonte Ranch.
"From here on out, it's all playoff games for us," Douglas center Parker Robertson said. "If we want to make the real playoffs, we have to play like we're already there."
Douglas built a 33-16 lead through the first half Tuesday night, but the Colts cut that to 39-27 through the first three minutes of the third quarter.
The Tigers answered with an 11-0 run, however, to put the game away.
James McLaughlin led the Tigers with 17 points, Cale Pete added 12, Nick Hales and Chris Downs each had nine, Tyler Hoelzen, Garrett Getty and Austin Neddenriep each had seven, Luis Pina-Duarte had five and Jorey Scott added three.
