A Minden woman was arrested for felony drunken driving Sunday afternoon after she allegedly backed into another car in a convenience store parking lot.
Jasmine Amber Coty, 27, is being held in Douglas County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash after she failed a field sobriety test after the accident.
Coty, who listed her occupation as a Stateline cocktail waitress, struck the other vehicle at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. According to deputies, Coty does not have a valid driver's license or insurance.
Deputies responding to the accident said they found her inside the store making a phone call and that she was wobbling. After failing the sobriety test, a preliminary breath test showed she had a .167 blood alcohol content. A blood sample was taken upon her arrest. According to court documents, Coty has prior convictions for DUI on June 6, 2007 and July 24, 2006.
She faces six-month sentence out of Tahoe Township Justice Court for disorderly conduct.
