There was a big crowd at Wednesday's school budget meeting. It sounds like the janitors are none to happy with plans to lay off some of their numbers. We'll have more detail on how things went later today.
So far this has been more like a dog parade of storms instead of a real one. Needless to say, there was no 1-2 inches of snow as the clouds got shredded on their way across the Sierra. Reno's weather radar is back online, but it's not showing anything worth seeing.
There are road controls going over the Sierra, where apparently they've received some snow. The telemetry is showing the upper Carson basin picked up another 7 inches of snow. Ebbett's Pass picked up another 4.3 inches of snow. East Fork Watermaster Julian Larrouy said that if we can pull up to 80 percent average in the mountains, we'll be in better shape than last year. Right now we're closer to 60 percent than 80.
