Debbie Marsh won first place in the monthly Carson Valley Photo Club contest with a picture she titled "Indigo" after the restaurant where the picture was taken.

Second place was for Dean Moore's photo, "Valentine Wagon," of a neighbor's yard decorated for Valentine's Day.

Pam Brekas was third with her photo, "Cuddle Cove," taken in Arizona.

The photos will be on display at the Douglas County Public Library in Minden until the next meeting on March 10.

The next contest is for the best shot of winged living things, including eagles, raptors or any kind of bird.

The club meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Carson Valley Methodist Church, 1357 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.
