Six people were arrested Friday in an Internet-based sting operation operated by agents from the Mono Narcotic Enforcement Team.
Travis Jennings, 22, of San Luis Obispo, Joshua Martin, 28, of Newport Beach, Christopher Nichols, 30, of Newport Beach, Molly Malloy, 27, of Huntington Beach, and Jonathan Morrison, 21, of Highland Park were taken into custody after they tried to exchange drugs for vouchers for the Mammoth Lakes Ski Area.
All six responded to an advertisement that clearly stated that the vouchers were to be exchanged for narcotics.
Narcotics agents received numerous offers from prospective buyers, and deals were arranged to occur on Friday in Mammoth Lakes.
When the buyers arrived in Mammoth Lakes and gave the agents narcotics, they were arrested.
Seized was approximately a pound of marijuana, quarter ounce of cocaine, Ecstasy tablets, and a variety of prescription medications.
All suspects were booked into the Mono County Jail on charges ranging from sales of controlled substance, possession of cocaine, sales and possession of more than 1 ounce of marijuana and conspiracy.
