The wind's really blowing out this morning. The high today will approach 60 degrees as the coming front scoops up every atom of warm air and pushes it our way. We'll see a slight chance of rain on Wednesday and a better chance on Thursday, when we might even see a snowflake or two.
Monday morning's accident near Holbrook may have been more interesting that we originally thought. Reportedly a man in a red pickup was hanging upside down after it rolled over. A message he left with someone prompted another call-out later in the day.
While I'm taking care of follow-ups, county commissioners continued the rewrite of the festival permit discussion to a "date uncertain." Genoans sought to be exempted from the ordinance along with the other two unincorporated towns. The irony might not have been lost on commissioners.
Eagles and Agriculture tours are this weekend. I haven't heard what kind of turn-out they've had, but if you want to go, now would be a good time to give them a call. The weather for the trip looks like it might cooperate a bit. For more information, visit www.visitcarsonvalley.org or call 782-8035.
