An arrest in Bishop on Sunday led authorities to more than $25,000 in items reported stolen in more than a dozen burglaries over the last several years.
Bishop resident Terry Lee Bouch, 50, was a arrested by a California Highway Patrol officer when he was found with a loaded handgun.
When officers checked the gun's serial number, they discovered it had been reported stolen in Mono County in December 2008.
Mono County investigators were notified. On Monday a search of Bouch's home by Mono, Inyo and Bishop authorities recovered items including firearms, power tools, construction equipment and home furnishings estimated to be worth $25,000-$30,000 allegedly taken in burglaries in all three jurisdictions.
The investigation continues as more property is recovered from other Mono County burglaries and is being identified by the victims.
