The Dakota Organization brings "Annoyance" by Sam Bobrick, to the Carson Valley Inn. The adult comedy is about an extremely annoying man who seeks help from two renowned therapists. In pursuit of his goal to be not so annoying, he drives both therapists over the edge.
The Dakota Organization has produced "The Nerd," "Sylvia," "Lips Together, Teeth Apart" and "Same Time Next Year" in Carson Valley. "Annoyance" is The Dakota Organization's first dinner theater production.
"Annoyance" will be performed in a show only format March 12 at 7:30 p.m. Dinner shows are 6:30 p.m. March 13 and 14. Champagne brunch show is 11:30 a.m. March 15.
All performances are at the Carson Valley Inn at the Donegal Room. Doors open an hour prior to dinner and champagne brunch performances and a half hour prior to the show-only performance. Dinners include salad, petite filet, chardonnay poached salmon, vegetables, dessert, coffee and tea. Prices for dinner theater and champagne brunch: $45 general, $40 seniors. Thursday night's show only performance is $18 general, $15 seniors 60 years and older.
"Annoyance" is produced by Margaret Edson. The cast is Jody Paslov as Ethan Steckler, Teri Lynn as Dr. Anita Wells and Dave Anderson as Dr. Sidney Gates.
The Minden-based nonprofit theater arts group The Dakota Organization is dedicated to quality live performing arts. The group is committed to giving back to the community. A portion of ticket sales is donated to the Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada.
