Wind prone areas west of Highway 395 should expect gusts of up to 65 mph. It's going to be shaky going for high-profile vehicles along Highway 395. Blowing dust won't make it any easier.

Chain or snow tires are required for Highway 50 at Lake Tahoe, Kingsbury Grade and over Spooner Summit. Chains or four-wheel drive are required on Highway 88 over Carson Pass, on Highway 50 over Echo Summit and on Interstate 80 over Donner Summit.
