Repainting the Douglas County Public Library's Internet and reference area will keep it closed for one day longer than anticipated. Maggie Rusmisel said the area will be closed on Saturday, too.

Speaking of extending closures, the U.S. Forest Service reseeded areas of the Jacks Valley Wildlife Management Area and plans to keep it closed to motorized vehicles through this year.
