Virginia 'Ginger' Hall

A funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Carson City for Minden resident Virginia "Ginger" Hall, 61, who died at her home Dec. 29, 2008.

Born June 13, 1947, in Pennsylvania to Thomas and Elizabeth Espieg, she was a talented artist, who designed jewelry and stained glass, and painted works that decorated her home.

She worked as a hairdresser and restaurant hostess. Friends said she had an adventurous spirit, and loved to travel, ski and learn about new things.

Family members said she will be missed by her friends and co-workers.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her sister, Liz Devine of Pennsylvania; two sons, Tristan (Sarah) of Reno and Morgan Hall; and grandson Nicholas Hall of Reno.

Arrangements are entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home in Carson City.
