Marjory Goldman

An open house was Friday to remember Gardnerville resident Marjory Goldman, 73, who died at Carson Valley Medical Center on Jan. 3, 2009.

Born May 21, 1935, in Oakland, Calif., to William and Freda Hellman, she was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She became a teacher, and in June 1963, married William Goldman in Reno.

Mrs. Goldman came to Gardnerville from San Jose, Calif. She was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America's Carson-Tahoe branch.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband; sons Michael of Clarksville, Tenn., and Michael (Lori) of Fair Oaks, Calif.; and three grandchildren, with a great-grandchild on the way.
