Park, Moody married in Minden

Amanda Park and Darrik Moody were married Nov. 1, 2008, at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

The bride is the daughter of Debra and Edward Epps of Minden and James Park of Carson City. She is a 2006 graduate of Douglas High School.

The groom is the son of Donna and Jim Moody, who live in England. He is a 2002 graduate of Arroyo Grande High School in San Luis Obispo County, Calif.

Amanda said although Darrik didn't like her when they first met, he would still walk her out to her car every night after work.

"One thing that made our wedding special was my stepdad got ordained and notarized just so he could marry us and that meant a lot," she said.

After a wedding trip to Waikiki, Hawaii, the couple make their home in Gardnerville.
