Snow tires or chains are being required on Highway 395 south of the intersection with Highway 88 in Minden, Highway 88 south of the California state line, Kingsbury Grade, Highway 50 through Douglas and Highway 208 from Holbrook Junction all the way to Yerington.
According to the National Weather Service, we'll see a 50 percent chance of scattered snow showers after 10 a.m. Nothing should be sticking. Today's high temperature should climb all the way up to 37 degrees. Right now it's 22 degrees in Genoa and 24 degrees in Minden.
