Gardnerville resident Delores R. 'Grolla' Gilcher, 85, died June 12, 2009, at her home.
Born March 21, 1924 in St. Paul, Minn., she lived in West St. Paul before moving to Carson Valley.
Mrs. Gilcher was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Edna Grolla and nephew Teddy Grolla.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gilbert Gilcher; brother Eugene (Phyllis) Grolla of McGregor, Minn.; brother-in-law Leo Gilcher of Whittier, Calif.; Sister-in-laws Venus Taylor of Gardnerville, and Eleanor Monzel of W. St. Paul, Minn.; five nieces and two nephews, along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Private services were held. Final arrangements were in the care of Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
