A 53-year-old Holbrook woman was jailed Saturday on $50,000 bail charged with pointing a gun at her boyfriend and threatening to kill him.

The victim told authorities that he and Myra Hamontree had been arguing. He said he lay down to take a nap when the suspect allegedly pulled a 12-gauge shotgun on him.

He said Hamontree put the shotgun down and picked up a derringer, pointed it at him, and said she was "going to blow him away."

He said he went to the trailer park manager's office and called deputies

According to deputies, the alleged victim and suspect were intoxicated.

Hamontree's blood-alcohol content was .133, in violation of her California probation.

She denied pointing the gun and said she "would never hurt anyone."

She had an arrest warrant out of Turlock, Calif., for failure to appear on a charge of burglary.

Hamontree was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

She is to appear Wednesday in East Fork Justice Court.
