Cap'n Keith of "Deadliest Catch" will be in Gardnerville this evening for the Boys & Girls Club fundraiser. Renea Louie of the Business Council said they sold out the fundraiser for the club.

Airport Advisory Committee members met on Thursday to work on their presentation for the revision of the airport weight ordinance. They'll unveil the presentation at a public workshop 6 p.m. Wednesday at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Another session will be July 22 at Stateline.

Medics thought someone hurt in a crosswalk Thursday morning had a broken collar bone when they transported the person to Carson Valley Medical Center. I'm not being coy about the person's gender, I've just got conflicting reports.

It will warm up over the next few days under sunny skies. Expect the winds to pick back up on Saturday with 25 mph gusts. There's no moisture in the forecast, so all we have to worry about on the fire front is us. Uh-oh.
