Carson Valley Inn entertainment

American Made continues in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, the Millionaire$ take the stage July 20 and the Palmore Brothers entertain July 21-26.

American Made plays American music from the '40s to the present including rock, oldies, classic rock, R&B, country and big band swing. The group is Sharon Wyner on vocals and keyboards; Nat Wyner on vocals, electric violin, guitar, and mandolin; Jeff Sadie on lead guitar and vocals; and Jerry Stollman on drums and vocals.

The Palmore Brothers band performs rhythm & blues, pop and classics. Keyboardist John Palmore and bassist Charles Palmore formerly played with The Drifters and worked with Jackie Wilson, Mary Wells, ZZ Hill, Wilson Pickett, Lou Rawls, Lionel Richie and BB King. The band includes Vernon Taylor on lead vocals and keyboards and Daniel McGowen on drums.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and on the half-hour starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Carson Valley Inn is on Highway 395 in Minden. Information, 782-9711 or cvinn.com

The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department continues the Family Summer Concert Series with Rick Hays & American Steel, 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight, at Minden Park.
